The film relies heavily on outdated and formulaic cliches, seemingly confident that the star power of Chiranjeevi, Tamannaah Bhatia, and Keerthy Suresh would be enough to salvage a lackluster story. Meher Ramesh, credited with ‘story development,’ adapts an eight-year-old Tamil film Vedalam starring Ajith, which was not particularly impressive either. The result is a mishmash of a sentimental brother-sister relationship, poorly developed villain characters, a leading lady trying to add absurd humor but coming off as silly, tasteless humor, and forgettable, loud music.
